{"id":12,"date":"2019-03-15T15:36:16","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T14:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/yyqrzwwvyb.cyon.link\/?page_id=12"},"modified":"2019-06-14T11:18:26","modified_gmt":"2019-06-14T09:18:26","slug":"election-manifesto","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.svp-international.ch\/en\/about-us\/goals\/election-manifesto\/","title":{"rendered":"Election manifesto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SVP International is campaigning for the following issues in the 2015 &#8211; 2019 Legislation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ensuring financial security for Swiss<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Adequate consular services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>International thinking instead of EU-bondage<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Safeguarding the independence and neutrality of Switzerland<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Clear policy on foreigners<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ensuring financial security for Swiss<\/h3>\n<p>Motto: <strong>Each Swiss (abroad) can have a Swiss bank account<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Swiss expatriates or Swiss who have lived abroad for some time are often discriminated against both in financial services as well as in their retirement provisions.<\/p>\n<p>The SVP International advocates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring that each Swiss can have a bank account in Switzerland<\/li>\n<li>Preventing the erosion of bank secrecy for Swiss citizens<\/li>\n<li>Fewer disadvantages for Swiss Abroad in their retirement provision<\/li>\n<li>Promoting the liberal economic policy of Switzerland<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Adequate consular services<\/h3>\n<p>Motto: <strong>No mindless closure of consulates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SVP International has taken a clear stand for years to be certain that Swiss Abroad and the Swiss economy experience stronger support from their overseas representatives such as consulates, embassies, chambers of commerce and other cooperating partners.<\/p>\n<p>The SVP International contends for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring the close and reliable functioning of the consular network<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion and interactive participation of politicians in the Swiss Abroad sections of the parties, in committees, as well as in important commissions regarding the free movement of persons, social security, tax treaties, finance, research and training, and also foreign trade issues<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening the Swiss Abroad as \u201cambassadors of our country\u201d and neutral mediators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>International thinking instead of EU-bondage<\/h3>\n<p>Motto: <strong>The world does not end at the border of Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SVP International is committed to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Worldwide recognition of the Swiss education system<\/li>\n<li>Promote export and international economic cooperation by means of continued and additional free trade agreements and bilateral treaties<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen scientific cooperation beyond the borders of Europe<\/li>\n<li>Ensure, by contractual agreement, the implementation of the Deportation Initiative and the Mass Immigration Initiative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Protect the Direct Democracy, Independence, and Neutrality of Switzerland<\/h3>\n<p>Motto: <strong>Prevent creeping EU accession<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The SVP International considers it extremely important to preserve the independence and neutrality of Switzerland.
